A Powerball player in New Jersey juuuust missed the jackpot. But he still has one million reasons to celebrate.
"I was one number off the full win!" Mayank C. told the Jackpocket team.
His Quick Pick ticket, ordered on the Jackpocket lottery app in NJ, matched all 5 white balls, just missing the red Powerball in the March 16th drawing. Mayank scored the second-prize payout of $1 million.
His ticket was one number shy of hitting the $623.4 million top prize.
